About the Bay Area Inspire Awards
The Bay Area Inspire Awards was started by a small group of Bay Area residents interested in building local communities that work better for all residents, especially those whose lives are difficult. These awards are designed to tap into the creativity of socially progressive young adults, who often have innovative ideas but lack the financial backing to turn these ideas into reality. We believe in the power of young adults to create change, and we want to give those with fresh ideas the chance to succeed for a healthier Bay Area.
The program was successfully launched in 2014, and we gave awards to six young adults spearheading a diverse range of projects in San Francisco and Alameda Counties. The program expanded to eight awardees in 2015, including two in San Mateo County. To learn about eligibility requirements and how to apply, please click here. |
